The Tapia Cabins project follows extensive research into the tourism and hospitality market of Tobago - an emerging market in the Caribbean and sister island to the twin island state of Trinidad and Tobago.
M_A/D’s research into local culture, history and the perception of Caribbean architecture (globally) has presented a dynamic shift away from traditional hospitality typologies found on the island, resulting in focus on celebrating the unique experiential qualities of the islands.
